Music Director, Chelmsford Community BAND

Eric Linsner has worked as a Band Director in the Chelmsford Public Schools for the past 20 years, holding various positions at Chelmsford High School as well as McCarthy and Parker Middle Schools. He is currently the Band Director at the Parker Middle School where he leads 4 bands, 3 percussion ensembles and a jazz band. He completed his degree in Music Education at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He has worked as an instructor for the Boston Crusaders and the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps, and currently serves as the low brass instructor for the UMass - Lowell Marching Band. Eric is an active performer on both trombone and trumpet, having performed with the Chelmsford Community Band and Jazz Ensemble, the Reading Symphony Orchestra, and various pit orchestras in the area.

Timothy Moore

Assistant MUSIC Director, CHELMSFORD COMMUNITY BAND

Timothy Moore has been the Assistant Director of the Chelmsford Community Band since 2003. In addition to conducting and playing in the percussion section, he composes and arranges music for the concert band. Timothy received his Bachelor of Music from Grove City College and currently teaches in the Billerica and Bedford School Systems.

Arthur Bakopolus

Music Director, Chelmsford Community Jazz Ensemble

Arthur Bakopolus is a long time vet of the big bands and jazz music in general. Currently in addition to leading the Chelmsford Community Jazz Ensemble, he runs the Sandwich High School Jazz Band and runs regular Jazz improv workshops and leads the monthly jam session at Haverhill's Chit Chat club. Recently he was named the conductor for the Southeast Junior Districts Jazz Band. Arthur leads his own quintet, AB5. He also runs a seven piece swing band and a sax quartet.

As a player, he has toured with and performed locally with such groups as the Artie Shaw band, the Benny Goodman Tribute band, the Jimmy Dorsey band, the Guy Lombardo band, Johnny Mathis, the Shirelles, Bobby Rydell, Barnum and Bailey's circus, Liza Minelli and many others.
